The Jerusalem Twist can be tied with almost any square scarf. Make sure you begin with the scarf folded over in half (into a triangle). Our model below is wearing our large striped scarf in steel blue.
Step 1:
Place the folded scarf over your head. Both ends should be the same length.
Step 2:
Take the two ends and switch them to opposite sides - Make sure you switch the sides over the scarf tail and not under. The only difference between the Jerusalem Twist and the classic tie is in this step. The classic tie switches the two ends under the scarf tail while the Jerusalem Twist switches the two ends over the scarf tail.
Step 3:
The two ends are wrapped around the crown of your head and tucked in securely around the temple.
Step 4:
The Jerusalem Twist can be a bit tricky at first. You'll get the hang of it after practicing a few times.
You can also top off the Jerusalem Twist with one of our beautiful accent scarves.
